ENG-101: Practical English

Course Duration: Three (3) months

Course Description: 

The aim of the Practical English course is to offer our students lessons that would prepare them to face the practical world of communication beyond classroom walls. The lessons are divided into 12 sessions where students will gradually go through foundational English components to master the basics. The lessons focus on the four skills of English – Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.

Course Outcomes: 

  • Students will master the 4 skills of English  
  • Students will learn how to be grammatically appropriate  
  • Students will learn how to be idiomatically appropriate in real-life situations  
  • Students will consider English as a means of communication instead of as a classroom subject
